Hello May! If you want to find me I’ll just be, ya know, casually hanging out in all the floral fields I can find. Seriously though, this time of year is all about bohemian vibes, and for me that equates to spring florals. I’m all on board with this trend.
I scored on this Tracy Reese strapless floral dress, a total on sale, splurge kind of moment for me. In my mind I was thinking, oh, this would be perfect for a summer wedding (to which I’m not going to any this summer) or oh, this would be perfect for an outdoor summer party in the grass (I have none on the calendar). But then I thought, why do we really need special occasions to decide when we get to wear something? Life is too short for that. Just buy the dress! And so I did.
I say this time and time again, I’m a sucker for color and a bold print. As much as I totally admire the chicness of a monochrome look, I’m always drawn to the opposite! For the most part anyway. This silky, flouncy dress has to be my favorite in my closet right now, which is kind of saying something, because if you know me, you know I own a lot of dresses. I love the lightweight, loose structure feel and the pinks and yellows basically sing to my heart. Perfect for vacations, staycations or really any day this season out of the office, you can’t ever go wrong with a floral dress.
Sadly, I think this version is sold out, but I’ve linked to some of my favorite floral dresses below. Try them out! And thanks for reading,
