Fall is slowly approaching in San Diego, and by that I mean, we probably have at least 6 more weeks of summer type weather. The nights have been a tad bit cooler, but not really. We don’t have a/c so I’ve still got every fan blowing on high at night. But that doesn’t mean I’m not eyeing fall transitional dresses.
This peacock blue dress is one of my favorites right now and such a steal. It’s super light weight, but it does have a slip beneath it and the longer sleeve gives it more of a fall feel versus summer dress, in my opinion. I love the flutter sleeve and obviously the intricate lace! I’m thinking tall camel colored boots when the temperatures really start to dip. But until then, I’ll happily be trouncing through the streets enjoying the sun and the basket weave handbag trend. This bag by the way belonged to my grandmother, it’s such amazing vintage. I adored my grandmother’s style.
Things you should know about this dress, it runs very big. I’m sure you can tell, it’s very billowy on me, doesn’t define my shape at all and I am totally okay with that! I would have sized down (for reference this dress is a Petite Small) but they did not have my size in store. I’ve linked this dress and another super cute blue, billowy dress below.
What fall favorites are you eyeing? I’d love to hear and thank you for stopping by and reading!
